Service Desk Analyst – ITIL, Active Directory. £25k. Dartford. My client, a leading Dartford based, distributor, are looking for a Service Desk Analyst with strong Active Directory knowledge and experience of working in an ITIL framework, to join the team. You will join an established team of support personnel on a permanent basis providing 1st & 2nd Line support (both hands-on and remote) to staff across multiple sites from the company’s head office in Dartford. You will have an enthusiastic and professional attitude as you will be dealing with colleagues at all levels within the business. You will also be a point of contact for customers who use the company’s Business to Business web site. Ideally, you will already have some experience of working in a Service Desk and will understand the importance of call logging, documentation and working to SLAs whilst working in a team environment.

As well as having a logical outlook to resolving issues, you will need to be able to demonstrate technical skills, knowledge and proficiency in the following areas:

  • Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy
  • Office 365 (Outlook/Word/Excel 2013 & 2016).
  • Desktop support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10
  • Server support on Windows Server 2008 R2 & Windows Server 2012/2012 R2
  • IPv4 networking (protocols/switches/routers/wireless)
  • Firewalls (ideally Dell SonicWAll)

In addition to this, the following would be desirable:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Microsoft SCCM 2012
  • Virtualization (VMWare)

A Service Desk Analyst with this client will receive a salary of up to £25,000 as well as life insurance and 23 days’ holiday (increasing to 25 after 2 years’ service).
