Helpdesk Analyst – £23,000 – Dartford

Helpdesk Analyst – £23,000 – Dartford. My client, a large multi-national online retailer, based in Dartford, Kent, are currently seeking a Helpdesk Analyst / I.T. Support Technician / 1st line Support Analyst to work on the internal helpdesk. You would be joining the existing Support Team to provide 1st line support to approximately 700 staff at all levels, as well as customers who use the company’s various web sites.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and resolving support calls via the telephone or email.
  • Recording incidents on the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Escalating incidents to 2nd/3rd line support as necessary.
  • Building & Configuring PCs & Laptops to the Company standard.

This is a full-time Helpdesk role, based in the Dartford office (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous service desk / helpdesk experience. You will need to be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of I.T. and will ideally have a relevant and recognisable I.T. qualification (CompTIA, MCP etc)
  • Have a professional telephone manner
  • Be proficient in English, both spoken and written
  • Be a clear and confident communicator
  • Have the ability to record spoken information accurately

As a Helpdesk Analyst with this company you will earn a basic salary of up to £23,000 depending upon experience and will be entitled to a range of company benefits.
