My client are a leading provider of bespoke desktop and cloud-based software to the accounting industry and are looking to add to their technical support team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for their first role within the industry and is willing to learn and develop their skillset further. On a day to day basis you will be the first point of contact for any software related issues my clients customers may have, below are the responsibilities for the role:-
- Continuously working towards a proficient understanding of the software provided my client so you are able to provide support to customers effectively
- First point of contact for customers on telephone support
- Logging inbound calls on the management system as well as recording the action you took to resolve the issue
- Dealing with and responding to client emails whilst keeping them organised within the client directories
- Efficient diagnosis of software problems or faults and resolution over the phone, email or remote support
- Proactively assist users in making full use out of the software
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault/set-up a system until you are fully trained
- Supporting the roll-out of new software/applications
Salary wise, my client are looking to pay a starting salary of £18,000 + a great benefits package.
